Giggles

Wesley is a very mellow baby, which is good because he's rarely crabby and is very patient when I need to deal with his big brother. But it also means that moments like the one above are rare and precious. This was the first time we got a real giggle out of Wesley...we were talking about what our next car is going to be. Like father, like son.

Bath Time

Bath time is always a fun time at our house. Jack loves to have water poured over his head; it always makes him laugh and wave his arms around madly. Needless to say, this makes a little bit of a mess, but fun is sometimes messy, right? Last Christmas Gramma and Grampa gave Jack this puppy towel. Jack wants to look in the mirror every time he uses it and it always produces a lot of giggles and few barks.

Wesley's First Solids

Since Wesley hasn't been sleeping very well at night we decided to try some cereal to see if that would "stick with him" longer and I could get more than a few hours of sleep at a time. Thursday night Sean came home with a box of rice cereal and we gave it a go. As you can see from the pictures, it wasn't Wesley's favorite lifetime experience. He's getting better and I am happy to report that he's sleeping better at night.

Welcome to our blog

After visiting many many many blogs and enjoying the updates from our friends and acquaintances, I decided to set up one of these "new-fangled" blogs for myself. When I was young (I know, I know) I laughed at my parents when they couldn't figure out some "new" piece of technology (is voice mail still considered new?). I vowed never to lose touch with the latest music, fashion, technology, etc. Well, I am discovering that it isn't necessarily a question of desire, but more a question of time and how much you have to devote to reading the hundreds of help articles that will tell you exactly what you need to do to get the result you're looking for. I do not have that kind of time so you won't notice a lot of originality on this blog. As time goes on and I find 5 minutes here and there to make updates, I hope you'll see that it evolves into a better and more creative expression of our family. Until then you'll just have to enjoy the pictures.
